How to get involved

Thank you to everyone who gave us their input via a survey or in person at a parks session. We have compiled all the information and developed a proposed concept plan for each play space. This is an opportunity for the City to check in with the community, give everyone a chance to view the proposed concept and provide final feedback.

We have tried to capture your ideas and balance all of the requests that we've received, offer a solution that best fits within the parameters of the project and adhere to the City's guiding document, the Parks and Play Space Classification Hierarchy.

Please click on the pages below in the News Feed to view the draft concept for each play space.

What’s next?

The feedback period will close on Monday 6 April, 2020. The City will review any feedback received and consider any necessary revisions to the proposed concepts. We will then commence detailed design, procurement and placing orders with suppliers. This process will take longer at some play spaces than others, depending on the level of detail required.

Redevelopments are anticipated to start in July/August this year and we will keep the community updated as the information becomes available.

In some cases, there may be a second stage of works, pending available resources. Proposed future works are indicated in the drafts. We will endeavor to keep the community updated about future works once the first stage of works has commenced.
