BACKGROUND 

Swan Lake Reserve is a Local Park located in Bayswater. As part of the City's ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving local parks, the existing play equipment will be replaced in early 2026. The renewal will create a more welcoming, inclusive and engaging play space that encourages community connection and active outdoor play.


HOW WILL THE PLAY SPACE BE RENEWED?

  • New play equipment designed for a variety of ages and abilities.
  • New shade sail.

The indicative concept plan is now available and ready to be viewed in the Document Library.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Community input has been vital in shaping the design. The engagement period is now closed, and we thank everyone who participated through the online page and survey.

WHAT'S NEXT?

Construction works will occur in February, with updates provided as the project progresses.
