Flora Reserve is a Local Park located in Bayswater. The existing play equipment has reached the end of its useful life and will be replaced mid-2024. This redevelopment aims to create a more welcoming and inclusive play space that can lead to a stronger and more vibrant community.
How will the play space be redeveloped?
The approximate budget for this redevelopment is $50,000. The City is investigating the opportunity to undertake any additional works at this park in conjunction with the play space renewal. This may include, but is not limited to, converting underutilized areas of turf to mulched native planting to reduce watering and maintenance, community initiatives and general landscape upgrades where necessary and feasible.
