Why does the City want to name Reserve 33533?

Reserve 33533 is not formally named and therefore, the City can take this opportunity to formally name the reserve after a prominent or historically significant figure in the City of Bayswater community.

Isn't the reserve already named 'Maxwell Reserve'?

Although known throughout the community as 'Maxwell Reserve', Reserve 33533 is not currently formally named. The reserve may have become known as 'Maxwell Reserve' because the street where the reserve is located was originally named 'Maxwell Avenue', with reserves/parks often taking the name of the adjoining street.

I don't live anywhere near the reserve, can I still comment on the proposed name?

Yes, all residents regardless of where they live in the City of Bayswater, are welcome to complete the survey.

What other names have been proposed for the reserve?

At this time, 'Pittaway' is the only name option under consideration for the Reserve.
