Landscape and Environment Restoration Plan Survey

The survey below provides an opportunity for you to respond to each of the designated 15 areas of the assessment, specifically to:

  1. Tell us if the assessment reflects your understanding of the area
  2. Rate the potential design response provided
  3. Provide any considerations that might strengthen the design response

Before providing your feedback, we suggest you read the LANDSCAPE AND GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE ASSESSMENT.

Pages 1-9 will help you understand the approach and the assessment criteria. 

The remainder of the document contains the assessment and design response for each area. 

For ease, the assessment and response links to these are provided in the survey for each individual area.

Green assessment and design response

The following questions provide the opportunity to reflect on the assessment and if you think the design response for each area addresses the objects of the assessment:

  1. Restore Ecological Health: Address nutrient accumulation, reduce algal blooms and midges, enhance aquatic and terrestrial biodiversity, and establish a resilient ecosystem.
  2. Enhance Climate Resilience: Improve the capacity of the lakes and surrounding landscape to withstand heat, drought, and flood events through integrated green and blue infrastructure.
  3. Support Community and Amenity: Maintain accessible, visually appealing, and culturally engaging spaces for residents and visitors.
  4. Ensure Sustainable Management: Apply adaptive and efficient maintenance practices to sustain ecological and community outcomes over the long term.
