Do all City of Bayswater Community Groups need to participate in the audit?

Yes. All Community Groups located within the City of Bayswater are required to participate in the audit.

For Leaseholders - it is mandatory to complete the audit and supply all required documentation. As community leaseholders are afforded concessions such as financial assistance with rent and outgoings, it is mandatory that all information requested is provided to the City accurately and honestly. Leaseholders are also required under their lease agreement to provide proof of current Public Liability Insurance, any other required insurances, and maintenance certificates (if maintenance responsibilities fall to the Lessee).

Why is the City of Bayswater doing this audit?

The City is undertaking this audit to improve the delivery of Club Development services and assess the use of the City’s leased facilities.

It will assist with collecting up to date contact details to ensure the City can share training and workshop opportunities, funding opportunities, as well as other information and resources with our valued Community Groups to improve their performance and build capability.

For Leaseholders - the City undertakes an annual audit of ALL community leaseholders to assess their performance against the City's Lease Key Performance Indicators (Lease KPI's).

Will the audit be available in multiple formats?

Community Groups are encouraged to complete the audit online via Engage Bayswater. However, a hard copy can be requested if you are unable complete it online.

When will the audit take place?

The audit will go live via Engage Bayswater on Monday 14 November and will close Friday 9 December.

    Can anyone complete the audit?

Only an authorised representative from the club, group or organisation is able to complete the audit. For community groups/clubs this would typically be the President, Secretary or Treasurer. For other organisations, this might be the CEO, Chief Financial Officer or Operations Manager.

How long will the audit take to complete?

The Community Group & Leaseholder Audit will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

Can I save my progress and continue later if I exit the survey?

Unfortunately not. Engage Bayswater does not have a ‘save progress’ function. We cannot guarantee that you would be able to continue where you left off, so we recommend preparing everything you need before you start, so you can complete the form in one sitting.

What if I don’t complete the audit by the due date?

As this feedback really helps us to improve our standards of service and operation, we will follow up by phone to see if we can provide any assistance with completing the online form. We genuinely appreciate your time and help.

For Leaseholders - your compliance with the audit and performance against the Lease KPI's is taken into consideration when your lease renewal is due and may also be taken into consideration when assessing applications for grant funding. Failure to provide essential documentation, such as proof of current Public Liability Insurance, is considered as non-compliance with your obligations under your lease agreement.
