On 22 February 2018 the City began the final stage of community consultation to replace the playground equipment at De Lacy Reserve, 40 Hillside Crescent Maylands. The information collected from the community engagement then assisted the City to develop a final concept design based on a mixture style of play equipment.
Thank you to all participants who completed a survey and attended the information session. The City values your input and it is anticipated that construction for De Lacy Reserve playground will commence in June 2018 and be completed by July 2018.

Please Note:
- Please limit responses to one survey per household.
- The images are indicative examples with 'sand soft fall'. Due to budget allocations in the event rubber is installed as the communities preferred style of soft fall, the number of play elements will be reduced.
- The final playground designs will be refined based on the community's feedback and input from the community input session.

What else you told us
- Equipment to be suitable for children aged between 0 - 12 years.
- Playground equipment to remain within the current location on the reserve.
- Climb, Swing, Slide are the community's top three preferred style of activities.
- Equipment such as Monkey Bars, Flying Fox and Fireman Pole be considered within a final design.
- The community advised that they marginally prefer rubber soft compared to sand, however both options have been considered due to budget allocation and fulfilling the requests by the community.
