PROJECT BACKGROUND
Riverside Gardens in Bayswater is a much-loved regional park, drawing visitors from all over the City of Bayswater and beyond. Now approaching the end of its lifespan, the existing play space will need to be replaced within the next several years. We are excited to create something new, vibrant, and fun. This renewal is part of the City's Play Space Redevelopment Program.
It's important that the new play space is the right fit for Riverside Gardens, which is why we are looking for community input to inform the design of the concept plans. Your feedback will help shape the design of the new play space, ensuring it meets the needs and desires of all park users.
While the renewed play space will remain in the dog onlead exercise area and be similar in size, it will offer a refreshed, more inclusive, and engaging experience for children of all ages and abilities to enjoy.
STAGE 1 - ENGAGEMENT CLOSED
We asked what mattered most in a play space. Thanks to everyone who completed the survey or met us in person.
