The City’s first Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2019-2024 was a five-year plan aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of the community while meeting the future legislative requirements of the Public Health Act 2016. This plan focused on addressing key public health priorities by encouraging the community to live healthier lifestyles through healthy eating and exercise.

From 17 November 2023, the City will be seeking the community’s input for the development of the new Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2024 - 2029.
