Morley Galleria Shopping Centre Redevelopment - This (minor) amended application is not open for public comment.

The City has received an application which is seeking to modify the approved Morley Galleria Shopping Centre Redevelopment. An approval was first issued on 23 November 2015 by the Metro Central Joint Development Assessment Panel (now known as the Metro Inner DAP). Subsequent amendments have been made with the most recent amendments being approved on 12 November 2021. This application is the fourth amendment to the original application (fifth application total).

A summary of the proposed amendments as part of this application are as follows:

1Modifying the supermarket tenancy (Coles) at the ground level, close to Bishop Street and adjusting the upper floor directly above to match the modifications
2The expansion of an existing retail tenancy into the existing carpark accessed from Old Collier Road, on the ground floor
3The expansion of an existing retail tenancy on the first floor;
4Internal modifications to various tenancies (which do not require development approval and will be resolved at a building permit stage)
