Replacement Communications Tower

Reserve 38149, 15 Wright Street, Bayswater - 'Paddy Walker Works Depot'

The City of Bayswater is considering an application for a replacement communications tower at the City’s Paddy Walker Works depot. In accordance with provisions of the City of Bayswater’s Town Planning Scheme No. 24, the proposal is being advertised for public comment on or before 4:30pm, Tuesday 25 September 2018.

The proposal involves the removal of the existing 29 metres high communications tower and construction of a new 50 metres high communications tower. The communications infrastructure currently attached to the existing tower will be relocated to the new tower following construction. No changes are proposed to the communications infrastructure.

The new tower will improve the performance of the existing communications infrastructure currently utilised to provide a range of services throughout the City.
