Local Stimulus projects

Consultation has concluded

Council has adopted a $5.09 million local economic and social stimulus package aimed at fast tracking major projects, generating local employment and supporting community organisations to recover from the COVID-19 crisis.

This includes funding towards works at Bayswater Waves, the Noranda netball courts, Morley Sport and Recreation Centre and Maylands Waterland.

The stimulus package also brings forward a number of infrastructure projects including new footpaths and maintenance of our existing ones, road resurfacing, improvements to our parks, town centre streetscape improvements and additional and replacement lighting in public spaces.

Further information about these projects is available on the City's website.

This page is designed to keep you informed about those stimulus projects happening in your local area, where you will have the opportunity to have a say. Click on the project name below to find out more.
