1. What is the Local Area Traffic Management Study (LATM) for?

    The LATM Study is to identify general traffic trends and any potential issues relating to the safe use of local roads.


    2. What areas are covered in the LATM?

    Precincts 1, 2 and 8 have been previously completed and the remaining five precincts covered in the LATM study are:

    Precinct 3:  Morley, Bayswater and Embleton.  Bordered by Coode Street to the west, Walter Road to the north, Beechboro Road South and Railway Parade to the south.

    Precinct 4:  Morley East. Bordered by Tonkin Highway to the west, Walter Road East to the south and the City's boundary to the east.

    Precinct 5:  Part of Noranda and Morley. Bordered by Tonkin Highway to the east, Walter Road West to the south-east, Morley Drive to the south-west, McGilvray Avenue/Crimea Street to the west and Malaga Drive to the north.

    Precinct 6:  Part of Noranda, Dianella and Morley. Bordered by McGilvray Avenue/Crimea Street to the east, Walter Road West to the south, Wellington Road to the west and Widgee Road to the north.

    Precinct 7:  Bayswater East, and Morley North. Bordered by the City's boundary to the east, Walter Road East to the north, Embleton Avenue and Beechboro Road South to the west and Railway Parade to the south.

    3. Why is my street not included in this study?

    It is likely that your street falls within Precincts 1, 2 or 8 which has been previously completed.

    It should also be noted that due to advancement of the project the section of Noranda, recently transferred from the City of Swan, is not covered in this study, however will be investigated in due course. 

    4. What happens with my feedback/comments?

    Feedback and comments provided will be used to finalise draft reports which will be presented to Council for consideration.
