FAQs
Why is the City of Bayswater doing this audit?
The City is undertaking this audit to assess the use of the City’s leased facilities.
The City undertakes an annual audit of ALL community leaseholders to assess their performance against the City's Lease Key Performance Indicators (Lease KPI's).
Do all leaseholders need to participate in the audit?
Yes, it is mandatory to complete the audit and supply all required documentation. As community leaseholders are afforded concessions such as financial assistance with rent it is mandatory that all information requested is provided to the City accurately and honestly. Leaseholders are also required under their lease agreement to provide proof of current Public Liability Insurance Certificate.
When will the audit take place?
The audit will go live via Engage Bayswater on 3 October and will close 31 October 2024.
Can anyone complete the audit?
Only an authorised representative from the club, group or organisation is able to complete the audit. For community groups/clubs this would typically be the President, Secretary or Treasurer.
How long will the audit take to complete?
The Community Group & Leaseholder Audit will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
What if I don’t complete the audit by the due date?
Your compliance with the audit and performance against the Lease KPI's is taken into consideration when your lease renewal. Failure to provide essential documentation, such as proof of current Public Liability Insurance, is considered as non-compliance with your obligations under your lease agreement.
Who can I contact if I have additional questions about the audit?
Please contact the City’s Community Lease Officer Anja Kolander on 9272 0698 or via leasing@bayswater.wa.gov.au
Will the audit be available in multiple formats?
Leaseholders are encouraged to complete the audit online via Engage Bayswater. However, a hard copy can be requested if you are unable complete it online.
Can I save my progress and continue later if I exit the survey?
Unfortunately not. Engage Bayswater does not have a ‘save progress’ function. We cannot guarantee that you would be able to continue where you left off, so we recommend preparing everything you need before you start, so you can complete the form in one sitting.
What if I have problems with the website?
If you have any issues with using the Engage Bayswater platform, please feel free to contact the Community Engagement team on 9272 0617 (Monday - Thursday).
