Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan 2026-2028

The City of Bayswater is developing a new Innovate RAP 2026-2028, in collaboration with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, service providers, schools and our local community.

The City’s Innovate RAP 2026-2028 will outline actions and deliverables across four pillars (Relationships, Respect, Opportunities and Governance), which the City will progress to further its Reconciliation journey.

Engagement opportunities include:

  • Facilitated workshops with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people (completed)
  • Community survey (Open until Friday 6 March 2026)
  • School workshops (February 2026)
  • Meetings with internal and external stakeholders (February 2026)

Following the community engagement period, a draft Innovate RAP 2026-2028 will be developed and shared for public comment (May 2026).

For more information, view the right-hand panel.

At its heart, reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples, for the benefit of all Australians.
