Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan 2026-2028

The City of Bayswater is developing a new Innovate RAP 2026-2028, in collaboration with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, service providers, schools and our local community.

The City’s Innovate RAP 2026-2028 will outline actions and deliverables across four pillars (Relationships, Respect, Opportunities and Governance), which the City will progress to further its Reconciliation journey.

The City has undertaken community and stakeholder engagement, including facilitated workshops with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, an online community survey, face to face school workshops and meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Thanks to all who participated in the community survey, the winners of the $100 vouchers have happily accepted their prize.

Following the community engagement period, a draft Innovate RAP 2026-2028 will be developed and shared for public comment.

For more information, view the right-hand panel.

At its heart, reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples, for the benefit of all Australians.
