Economic Development is the process of building the economic capacity of the City of Bayswater area in order to deliver better business, social and environmental outcomes.

Who is responsible for carrying out the actions in the strategy?
Many stakeholders will contribute to the business engagement process and the formulation of the Economic Development Strategy. This will include the City of Bayswater, local business community, local business organisations and groups, external government agencies, and the wider community.
How does the Economic Development Strategy link to the City of Bayswater Corporate Plan and Strategic Community Plan ?
The Economic Development Strategy will feed into the Corporate Business Plan vibrancy pillar and support the City of Bayswater to implement the programs to support the Vibrancy strategy.

Your feedback will be vital in ensuring the information derived from the business engagement process is representative of the expectations and desires of the local business community.
All feedback received from the local community will be analysed in collaboration with input from WA's major industry bodies, relevant Federal and State government departments and economic trends, data, reports and forecasts.
