Consultation has concluded

A statewide survey was undertaken to understand the changing needs and priorities in the local community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A collaboration between the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, 139 local governments, Local Government Professionals WA and CATALYSE Pty Ltd, the survey will collect information from communities across Western Australia. The study has gathered data to help local communities to recover and thrive following the COVID-19 outbreak in Australia, and will provide direct benefit to our local government and local community.

By taking part in the survey, our community is helping to:

  • Get robust data to see how the community is coping.
  • Gather direct feedback on the City's performance during this time.
  • Prioritise key focus areas and decide on the next steps, together.

A report on the survey outcomes is now available for viewing here. The report provides an overview of the outcomes across Western Australia as well as from residents within the City of Bayswater.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the survey. Your feedback is being used to inform the City's COVID-19 recovery planning.
