Description: The City of Bayswater has initiated scheme amendment 68 to Town Planning Scheme No.24 (TPS 24) and is inviting comments from the community during the public advertising period concluding Friday 23 December 2016.

Issue for Comment The City is inviting public comment on the proposed Amendment No.67 - 'Expansion of Maylands Activity Centre'.

The Scheme amendment is proposing to rezone Lot 8, 132 Guildford Road, Maylands and Lot 70, 55 Central Avenue Maylands to 'Maylands Activity Centre Zone' and to extend the boundary of Special Control Area 2 (SCA 2) to include both properties.

Additionally, it is proposed to amend Schedule 10 of TPS 24 to include additional development provisions relating to building heights, setback, land use and built form within SCA 2 which are specific to 132 Guildford Road and 55 Central Avenue, Maylands.
