Description:
The scheme amendment proposed to rezone Lot 8, 132 Guildford Road, Maylands and Lot 70, 55 Central Avenue Maylands to 'Maylands Activity Centre Zone' and to extend the boundary of Special Control Area 2 (SCA 2) to include both properties.
Additionally, it is proposed to amend Schedule 10 of TPS 24 to include additional development provisions relating to building heights, setback, land use and built form within SCA 2 which are specific to 132 Guildford Road and 55 Central Avenue, Maylands.
The scheme amendment was subsequently approved by the WAPC (see documents section) and then gazetted.
