Consultation has concluded

Description:

A local planning policy was adopted that included development provisions in relation to telecommunications infrastructure.

The City of Bayswater's Town Planning Scheme No. 24 was also amended to include new land use designations and modifying an interpretation in relation to telecommunications infrastructure.


Current project status:

Council resolved to adopt the local planning policy and recommend to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) and the Minister for Planning at their Ordinary Council Meeting dated 29 October 2019 to approve the scheme amendment - Item 10.4.2: https://www.bayswater.wa.gov.au/city-and-council/council/council-meetings/agendas-and-minutes/2019/october/ordinary-council-meeting-minutes-29-october-2019

The scheme amendment was subsequently approved by the WAPC and has now been gazetted.
