Amendment No. 70 - Wotton Reserve

Update - June 2019

At the Planning and Development Services Committee Meeting held 9 October 2018, Council resolved to support the proposed amendment as follows:

That Council:
1. Recommends approval without modification of Amendment No. 70 to the City of Bayswater Town Planning Scheme No. 24 to rezone a portion of Wotton Reserve from 'Local Public Open Space' to 'Special Purpose' with 'Recreation Public', 'Community Purpose' and 'Light Industry' as permitted uses.
2. Authorises the affixing of the Common Seal to the scheme amendment document and the documentation be forward to the Western Australian Planning Commission for final approval.

The amendment is now with the Western Australian Planning Commission for final consideration.

Purpose

The purpose of the scheme amendment is to rezone a 1,402m2 portion of Wotton Reserve from 'Local Public Open Space' to 'Special Purpose Zone' and amend Appendix 3 of the scheme to include the details of the new special purpose zone. The proposed 'Special Purpose Zone' includes the permitted uses of 'Industry - Light', 'Recreation Public' and 'Community Purpose'
