Over the coming years Allan Hill Reserve will be transformed with extensive new planting and improved accessibility for all visitors.
We are introducing native eco-zoned areas to boost local biodiversity and create vital wildlife habitats, all while ensuring the reserve maintains safe, clear lines of sight for the community.
A total of 750 Australian native plants will be planted in 2026, with 25 species boosting the local biodiversity and visual appeal of this reserve. These will be planted within four zones during the 2026 planting season and will take into consideration park accessibility upgrades planned for the 2026/2027 financial year.
