    ENGAGEMENT UPDATE

    The City received 43 completed surveys during the final stage of community consultation in relation to the De Lacy Reserve playground replacement. The information collected from the community engagement process then assisted the City to develop a final concept design based on a mixture style of play equipment.

    The below table identifies the outcome from the 43 surveys completed during the final stage of community consultation.

    The community also requested that the following options be considered within the overall concept design;

    - Equipment to be suitable for children aged between 0 - 12 years

    - Swing, Climb and Slide are the community's top three preferred style of activities

    - Would like to see additional benches and shade sails near the playground

    - Prefer sand softfall compared to rubber.

    Based on the community's feedback, the final design has been developed and is available by clicking here.
