Description:

The scheme amendment proposed to rezone a 1,402m2 portion of Wotton Reserve from 'Local Public Open Space' to 'Special Purpose Zone' and amended Appendix 3 of the scheme to include the details of the new special purpose zone. The proposed 'Special Purpose Zone' includes the permitted uses of 'Industry - Light', 'Recreation Public' and 'Community Purpose'


Current project status:

Council resolved to recommend to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) and the Minister for Planning at their Planning and Development Services Committee Meeting dated 9 October 2018 to approve the scheme amendment - Item 9.2: https://www.bayswater.wa.gov.au/city-and-council/council/council-meetings/agendas-and-minutes/2018/october/planning-and-development-services-meeting-minutes-

The scheme amendment was subsequently refused by the WAPC (see documents section).
