Amendment No.77 - Noranda Nursery Rezoning

Description:

The scheme amendment proposed to rezone 81 Camboon Road, Noranda "Business" with an overlaying 'Special Control Area'. The purpose of the Special Control Area was to provide greater detail on permitted building heights, land uses and landscaping requirements. The amendment would enable the site to be redeveloped with a small supermarket, a service station and other small retail spaces.


Current project status:

Council resolved to recommend to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) and the Minister for Planning at their Planning and Development Services Committee Meeting dated 4 December 2018 to refuse the scheme amendment - Item 10.6: https://www.bayswater.wa.gov.au/city-and-council/council/council-meetings/agendas-and-minutes/2018/december/planning-and-development-services-committee-minute
