Issue for Comment The City is inviting public comment on the proposed Amendment No.74 - 'Modifications to Liquor Store definition'.
The Scheme amendment is proposing to modify Town Planning Scheme No. 24 by modifying Appendix 1 by amending the definition of Liquor Store - Large and Liquor Store - Small, to read as follows:
Liquor Store – Large:
Means premises the subject of a liquor licence granted under the Liquor Control Act 1988 with a net lettable area of more than 300m2 and is able to sell packaged liquor under any category of liquor licence.
Liquor Store – Small:
Means premises the subject of a liquor licence granted under the Liquor Control Act 1988 with a net lettable area of not more than 300m2 and is able to sell packaged liquor under any category of liquor licence.
