Safe Routes to Embleton Primary School

Background

The Safe Routes to School project aims to improve safety for our most vulnerable road users and increase walking, cycling and scooting to school as it is well-recognised that this helps keep our kids healthy and happy.

To make it easier for parents and students to walk, cycle and scoot to school more often we will be identifying and providing pathway improvements, footpath stencils and wayfinding signage to five (5) safe routes to Embleton Primary School.

Examples of feedback we're looking, but not limited for include:

  • uneven paths/ ramps
  • over-hanging trees
  • unclear/ missing signage
  • narrow or crowded paths

How to get involved

  1. Use the interactive map to pinpoint hazards and/or suggestions
  2. Complete the survey to let us know your safety concerns

Please share your feedback with us via the links below or request a hardcopy via your school or engage@bayswater.wa.gov.au

This information will help us prioritise the work required over the coming years, to make the network safer and more enjoyable.

Please note that the implementation of the required works may need to be done in stages and would be subjected to project priority, budget/funding availability and approval from external governmental agencies.
