Consultation has concluded

Council, at its Planning and Development Services meeting of 23 January 2018, approved the proposed road name of Blades Close for the renaming of the southern portion of Lee Street, Morley for public advertising.

This will aid with the following issues:

  • The fact that Lee Street is divided by Pat O'Hara Reserve.

  • Confusion regarding the location of Olive Tree House and Morley Senior Citizens Centre for Emergency Services due to Lee Street being in two sections.

A location plan can be found here.

Landgate has previously advised the City they would consider the name "Blades Close" as it is on the Bayswater Historical Society WW1 Honor Roll.

Written comments may be submitted:

  • to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Bayswater, PO Box 467, Morley, WA 6943,

  • via email to mail@bayswater.wa.gov.au, or

  • via the online submission form below.

Submissions close at 4:30pm Thursday 15 February 2018.

Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact Jo Boone in the City's Planning and Development Services on 08 9272 0649.
