Consultation has concluded

Background

The City of Bayswater hereby gives notice that Council, at its Ordinary Council Meeting on 27 July 2021, adopted for public advertising the Local Heritage Fund Policy.

Following Council’s resolution, the City undertook a review of the Community Grants program, which included the Local Heritage grants. The review has now been finalised and the Local Heritage Fund Policy is to remain its own separate policy. In light of this, the City is now advertising the proposed amended policy.

The amended Local Heritage Fund Policy is intended to provide a clearer process for the Local Heritage Fund in relation to the maintenance, conservation and improvement of heritage buildings contained within the City’s Scheme Heritage List.

Update

Council supported this proposal at their Ordinary Council Meeting on 22 November 2022. You can read more about this decision here.
