Hillcrest Facilities Needs Assessment

BACKGROUND

Upper Hillcrest Reserve and Lower Hillcrest Reserve (Hillcrest Reserve) are key sporting precincts and important community assets. The Reserve is home to a number of local clubs, including the Bayswater Sporting Club, Bayswater Football Club, Bayswater Junior Football Club, Bayswater Postels Cricket Club and Bayswater Morley Districts Cricket Club.

The City's Community Recreation Plan 2022-2032 (CRP) identifies the need for a facility development plan to be completed in the medium term (2027 - 2032) for the whole reserve that will assess potential co-location opportunities, additional parking and any potential new or alternative sporting uses.

The facility needs assessment is the first step in the process of making sure any future developments at Hillcrest Reserve serve the needs of both the community and clubs.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Community Engagement is an essential part of this process. We want to hear what works well for you, what doesn't, and what potential new inclusions you would like to see. This will assist in developing a high-level concept.
