Will the drainage compensating basin be included in the reserve redevelopment?
No. It is not included in the reserve redevelopment.
The City and Water Corporation is investigating the possibility of improving the area as a separate project.
What will happen to the existing play equipment on the southern side of the reserve?
The play space is yet to be designed. Community input/feedback will help to determine if some or all of the existing play equipment is retained to form part of the new play space.
Will either carpark be upgraded as part of the redevelopment?
No. The carparks are not budgeted for as part of the reserve redevelopment. However the City will ensure there are connecting footpaths.
What is eco-zoning?
Is where the existing turf (grass) will be removed and replaced with mulch.
The benefits of eco-zoning include water savings, a decrease in the use of chemical spraying as a result of weed suppression, and enhanced growth of native plantings such as shrubs and saplings to increase the tree canopy.

I want to know more about the compacted gravel informal parking
The proposed informal parking bays will provide accessible access into the reserve.
Compacted gravel is gravel that has been crushed to create a dense surface.
