Selective thinning of non-native tree species has occurred to enable new native planting.

Silt curtains will be in place throughout the works to protect the river.

Works will be staged across three sections:

  • Central section (Peninsula Farm frontage): Works are occurring on the river side of the grassed area and in front of the buildings, including reshaping of the riverbank. River protection walling has been installed
  • Southern section (towards the boat facility): Works will extend a few metres back from the foreshore edge as per temporary fencing.
