Background

As part of its COVID-19 Economic Recovery Plan the City of Bayswater is proposing to conduct a program of business workshops and forums in the second half of 2021. With the purpose of stimulating and inspiring local commercial and industrial operators to grow and expand their enterprises.

Workshops / Forums

The City will bring businesses together to hear from subject matter experts; providing practical information and guidance to help you improve your capabilities and knowledge. The aim is to assist business across the City to invest in their future with confidence and continue to grow.

This program will cover topics such as:

  • Adopting digital marketing trends
  • Developing business leadership
  • Bidding and winning business with the City
  • Accessing local students as trainees or apprentices
  • Navigating the City's approvals processes,
  • Setting up a new business,
  • Taking your business online, and
  • Ways to benefit from ‘Destination Marketing’ strategies planned for the Town Activity Centres of Morley, Bayswater and Maylands.

Please note that the Expression of Interest period closed on the evening of Wednesday 8 September 2021. Businesses who registered an interest in any of the proposed forums and workshops will be contacted shortly.
