Draft Modified Mobile Food Vehicles Policy

Consultation has concluded

The City of Bayswater has adopted modifications to the Mobile Food Vehicles Policy for public comment. The modifications propose to change the advertising requirements for mobile food vehicles.

Issues for Comment The City is inviting comment on proposed modifications to the Mobile Food Vehicles Policy.

The modifications propose to allow mobile food vehicles which are not located on a main thoroughfare to have an additional A-Frame sign up to 500m away from the location of the vehicle whilst operating. A copy of the modified policy (with the modifications highlighted) is available here.

The proposed modification will apply to mobile food vehicles operating at the following locations:

  • AP Hinds Reserve, Bayswater;
  • Bardon Park, Maylands;
  • Clarkson Reserve, Maylands;
  • Claughton Reserve, Bayswater;
  • Berringa Park, Maylands; and,
  • Riverside Gardens, Bayswater;
