Notice of intention to levy differential rates for the 2024/25 financial year
In accordance with Section 6.36 of the Local Government Act 1995, notice is given of the City of Bayswater’s intention to adopt the following rates in the dollar for Gross Rental Value and Minimum Payments for each differential rating category in the 2024/2025 financial year.

Alternatively you can view a hard copy between 8.30am and 4.30pm at the City of Bayswater Civic Centre and Libraries, up to and including Thursday 23 May 2024.
Submissions may be made by an elector or a ratepayer in respect of the proposed rates and any related matter.

Update
At the Ordinary Council Meeting in May 2024 the proposed differential rates were adopted. See minutes for details of the decision here.
The budget will be prepared based on the Statement of Objects and Reasons and the following table.
This Council resolution also included a concession in the 2024/25 Annual Budget for those properties rated for Commercial purposes located within the Bayswater Town Centre as identified in the Bayswater Town Centre Structure Plan.
The proposal will now go to the Minister for approval ahead of the June Council meeting where the 2024/25 Budget will be presented.
