City of Bayswater Events

The City of Bayswater provides a calendar of events each year to foster community inclusion, enjoyment and a sense of place in the area we live.

The events calendar is reviewed annually in line with the City's Corporate Business Plan. This review is informed in part by feedback collected from the community throughout the events season.

Following the recent review the City is seeking community feedback on its proposed annual events calendar for 2019/20 before it is finalised.

The key outcomes of the review include:

  • The continuation of 15 existing events facilitated and delivered by the City;
  • The proposal of one event to be delivered by a community group;
  • The proposal of one new major event; and
  • Additional opportunities for community event grant funding through the City's new Community Event Grants Program, commencing 1 July 2019.

This is further explained in the Events Review Discussion Paper found in the document library.
