The City's Play Space Strategy outlines the City's approach to planning, design and management of play spaces, including the Play Space Redevelopment Program
Will the drainage compensating basin be included in the reserve upgrade?

Why won't the rubber soft-fall be replaced?
Due to budget restraints the City is unable to replace the existing rubber soft fall in the play space area. The project team have opted for a smaller footprint of rubber soft fall with the remaining area within the new play space to be white sand. White sand is more cost effective to install and maintain, is environmentally friendly and cooler on children's feet when they play on the playground in the summer months.
