What is proposed to be amended?
It is proposed to amend the City's Town Planning Scheme No. 24 by:
- Rezoning Lot 7, 106 Guildford Road, Maylands from ‘Service Station’ to ‘Medium and High Density Residential’ with the R50 density code; and
- Amending Schedule 10 of the Scheme text to introduce a new Special Control Area and associated development provisions covering Lot 7, 106 Guildford Road, Lot 8, 4 and Lot 5, 6 Third Avenue East, Maylands.
Current project status:
Council resolved to recommend to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) and the Minister for Planning at their Ordinary Council Meeting dated 27 October 2020 to approve the scheme amendment - Item 10.4.6: https://www.bayswater.wa.gov.au/city-and-council/council/council-meetings/agendas-and-minutes/2020/october/ordinary-council-meeting-minutes-27-october-2020
The scheme amendment is currently being considered by the WAPC.
