Description: The City of Bayswater has initiated amendment 72 to Town Planning Scheme No.24 (TPS 24) and is inviting comments from the community during the public advertising period which will conclude Tuesday 4 July 2017.

Issue for Comment The City is inviting public comment on the proposed Amendment No.72 - Additional Use 'Child Day Care Centre' to 197 Collier Road, Embleton.

Currently 197 Collier Road is zoned 'Special Purpose' with the following permitted land use:

"Offices - restricted to the existing building and any additions Council may subsequently approve".

The Scheme amendment proposes to introduce the additional land use of 'Child Day Care Centre' to the permitted uses for the site, so the site may be used as offices and/or child day care centre within the existing building, subject to approval of a development application.

Information Opportunities The scheme amendment documents can be inspected between 8:30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday up to and including Tuesday 4 July 2017 at the City of Bayswater Civic Centre, City of Bayswater Libraries, Max Tulley Office and Information Centre, and The RISE One Stop Shop.
