Thank you for your interest in the City of Bayswater Age Friendly Strategy.
The final Strategy was recently endorsed by Council at the Community, Technical, Finance and Corporate Services Committee meeting on 17 May 2017. To view the report and the full Strategy, please visit the City's minutes : http://www.bayswater.wa.gov.au/cproot/8133/2/Mins-CTFCS-17052017.pdf
The City of Bayswater recently held a series of workshops and created an online survey to seek community feedback on how the City can be more age-friendly.
The workshops and survey were well-received, and we were able to capture the views of a wide cross-section of our community.
As a result, Council has identified two key action areas to focus on for the next two years - information and communication; and transport.
The City is now seeking public comment on its draft Age Friendly Strategy.
You are invited to provide comment on the draft strategy by either:
Viewing the draft Strategy under the document library to the right, and completing the submission form by clicking on this link: comment form;
Accessing a hard copy of the Strategy via one of the City's Senior Citizen Centres or upon request;
Writing to Fiona Bentley at: City of Bayswater, PO Box 467, Morley WA 6943.
