Luderman Park - Final Concept Plan

Engagement Update

The information collected from the community engagement surveys assisted the City to develop a final concept design based on a traditional style of play equipment.

The community also requested that the following options be considered within the overall concept design:

• Equipment to be suitable for children aged between 0 - 12 years

• Climb, Swing and Slide are the community's top three preferred style of activities

• Would like to see supporting park infrastructure such as shade, public bbq, points of difference within the play-space

• Prefer sand soft-fall compared to mulch

Please note that it is anticipated that Luderman Park playground will be installed in June 2019. The equipment will be installed in and around the current location taking advantage of the natural shade provided by existing trees within the park.
