    ENGAGEMENT UPDATE

    The City received 26 completed surveys and held an onsite information session in relation to the Halliday Park playground replacement. The information collected from the community engagement stages then assisted the City of Bayswater to develop a final concept design based on a mixture style of play equipment.

    The below table identifies the outcome from the 26 surveys completed before the closing date of 13 December 2017.

    The community requested that the following options are considered within the overall concept design;

    - Equipment to be suitable for children aged between 0 - 12 years

    - Swing, Climb and Slide are the community's top three preferred style of activities

    - Community advised they would like to see additional benches and shade sails near the playground

    - The community advised that they prefer sand soft compared to mulch.

    Based on the community's feedback the final design has been developed and available here.

    Please note that work to replace the playground equipment at Halliday Park is scheduled to commence April 2018 to be completed by June 2018.
