What is behind the names Cumper and Karrak?

'Cumper Lane' - Fay Cumper worked at the Blind Institute until her retirement in 1991. A self-taught organist and pianist, she won the 1993 Angus Stewart Achievement Award for community service and served on the Council of Management as the residents’ elected representative. Fay was a member of Maylands Historical Society and lived in Maylands.

'Karrak Lane' - 'Karrak' is the Noongah name for the Red Tailed Black Cockatoo
