Council provides over 100 playgrounds across the City with the majority catering for the local community living within 400m of the reserve. Local playgrounds are traditionally small play areas with natural shade (where possible), sand or mulch soft fall and play elements. These vary between natural elements i.e. logs and rocks or more traditional play i.e. swings and slides or a variety of both.

The City is about to replace the equipment at Holden Reserve. Three playground options are provided to choose from: Nature Play Equipment, Traditional Style Play Equipment or mixture of both. Completing the attached survey will provide valuable information to the City in order to make an informed decision based upon community preference in regards to the new playground being installed.

Please note: The concept plans within the photo gallery are indicative examples of what the playground may look like and may not be an exact representation of the final equipment installed.

This survey closed 4pm Friday 10th March 2017.
